# ry forward

> Forward a local port to a port inside a machine, e.g. `ry forward shop 8080:3000` (no public port needed).

```text
ry forward [options] [app] <localPort>:<guestPort>
```

## Arguments

- `[app]`: The app (default: "app" from rytiv.json in this directory or above).

## Options

- `-m, --machine <id>`: Which machine (default: a running one of the app).

## Example

```bash
ry forward dev-1 3000:3000
```
